历史上的潘玉良潘玉良,原名陈玉清,1895年生于扬州,父母早逝,少年沦落风尘,身世坎坷。幸得潘赞化为其赎身,嫁潘为妻,遂改名潘玉良。潘玉良旅法四十多年,潜心钻研画艺,坚持“融中西画于一冶”,创作出许多优秀作品,在法国多次参加具有代表性的沙龙展览,并在美国、英国、意大利、比利时、卢森堡等国举办过个人画展。获得的奖项有:法国金像奖、比利时金质奖章和银盾奖、意大利罗马国际艺术金盾奖等共计二十多个。法国现代艺术博物馆、塞奴西博物馆、教育博物馆、巴黎市博物馆均收藏有潘玉良的作品。著名世界美术史家、美国史坦福大学教授苏利文认为潘玉良是“当代能使中西艺术融合的少数中国画家中一位杰出的榜样”。潘玉良生前曾多次准备回国,但因种种原因未能如愿,临终时嘱托友人一定要奖其作品奉献给国人。潘玉良去世后,经过辗转艰辛,潘玉良的四干多件遗作终于回到祖国,收藏于安徽省博物馆。在这批作品中,计有油画360幅,国画350幅,另有白描、版画、雕塑、水粉、速写等三千多件。从中可以看出潘王良的作品题材广泛,视野开阔,以印象派技法为主,同时揉进中国民族、民间艺术的特点,以线条入画,技法娴熟,笔力遒劲,充分体现了自己独特的风格。
Pan Yu-liang Pan Yu-liang, formerly known as Chen Yu-ching, was born in Yangzhou in 1895 and his parents died young. Fortunately Pan Chan for its ransom, marry Pan as wife, then renamed Pan Yuliang. For more than 40 years, Pan Yuliang has devoted himself to researching and developing arts and crafts and insisted on “integrating Chinese painting with western painting to create a good foundation.” He has created many outstanding works and has participated in many representative salon exhibitions in France. In the United States, Britain, Italy, Belgium , Luxembourg and other countries held a solo exhibition. Awards were: the French Academy Award, the Belgian Gold Medal and Silver Shield Award, the Italian Rome International Art Golden Shield Award, a total of more than 20. Museum of Modern Art France, Museu de Seurattuch, Museum of Education, Museum of the City of Paris have collected works of Pan Yuliang. Famous world art historian Sullivan, a professor at Stanford University in the United States, believes that Pan Yuliang is “an outstanding example of contemporary Chinese artists who can make Chinese and Western art converge.” Pan Yuliang was prepared to return to China many times during his lifetime, but he failed to do so due to various reasons. At the time of his death, he urged his friends to award their works to the Chinese people. After Pan Yu-liang’s death, after a long period of hardships, Pan Yu-liang’s four-piece relics finally returned to the motherland and was collected in the Anhui Provincial Museum. Among these works, there are 360 oil paintings, 350 traditional Chinese paintings, more than 3,000 pieces of white drawings, prints, sculptures, gouache and sketches. It can be seen that Pan Wangliang’s works have a wide range of topics, broad vision, and are mainly based on Impressionist techniques. At the same time, they are characterized by the characteristics of Chinese nationality and folk art. Their unique style is expressed in lines and paintings with skillful and energetic skills.
