案例优秀是卓越的大敌“因为优秀,所以难以卓越”这是一种悖论吗?我们很少向自己提出这样的问题。案头有这样一本书《从优秀到卓越》,封面书名上方就印着这行问题。这是美国著名管理学家柯林斯和他的团队历时5年的研究成果。他们对 1965年至1995年30年间出现在《财富》世界500强的1435家企业作了这一分析,发现只有15家企业实现了从优秀到卓越的跨越,而且保持15年以上。当然这指的是内涵发展,而且是可持续发展。优秀是卓越的大敌,柯林斯这样说。这一现象不仅仅是经济问题,它也是人类普遍面临的问题。如果我们能解读从优秀到卓越的奥秘,就能为任何类型的组织提供有价值的东西,使优秀的学校成为卓越的学校,优秀的团队成为卓越的团队。
