在多年的探索和研究之后,毫米波雷达系统终于成为现实。这种动向既展示了毫米波技术的前景同时也表现出了它的弱点,这就是通常所说的新技术的两面性。一方面毫米波雷达系统与老的、低频系统相比具有较高的分辨力和较好的末段跟踪能力。目前它们还工作在实际上无电子干扰的环境之中。另一方面,在毫米波频段内目前还几乎没有可供装备的消极的或积极的电子干扰装置能够对付毫米波雷达的威胁。
After years of exploration and research, the millimeter-wave radar system has finally become a reality. This trend not only shows the prospect of millimeter-wave technology but also shows its weakness, which is what is commonly referred to as the duality of the new technology. On the one hand, the millimeter-wave radar system has higher resolution and better final tracking capability than the old and low-frequency systems. They are currently working in an environment that is virtually free from electronic interference. On the other hand, there are few negative or positive electronic jamming devices that can be equipped to deal with the threat of millimeter-wave radar in the millimeter-wave band.
