水稻品种资源是水稻育种的物质基础.必须大量收集各种类型水稻品种资源,认真地加以鉴定与研究,才能为育种工作提供较好的亲本或直接加以利用. 1975年以来,我们积极开展了水稻品种资源的补充征集、整理和研究,截至1981年底,征集整理国内外、省内外品种资源计2,786份,其中籼稻1,306份、粳稻1,480份.目前,已对这些品种资源的30多种农艺性状作了初步考察,并对白叶枯病、稻瘟病、稻飞虱、稻叶蝉进行人工接种(虫),作抗性鉴定,已初步筛选出150多份具有不同抗性或多种抗性及经济性状
