This article is taken from (Editedby Michael P.Branch, Rochelle Johnson, Daniel Patterson, and Scott Slovic, 1998 Published by the Univer- sity of Idaho Press), which is a book in the book “Reading the Earth - A New Direction in the Study of Literature and the Environment” All articles were selected from the first session of the Association for Literary and Research Studies (ASLE, Colorado, 1995) and aim to “present as broadly as possible new ideas that represent the field of ecocriticism ”The ecocriticism is a new direction in the study of American culture since the rise of the 1950s and following the criticisms of feminists and black critics.The purpose of this study is to study the natural culture of the works To counterattack and respond to the global ecological crisis and to promote the emergence of a new type of civilization with ecologically sustainable development.
