袁绍文教援原藉浙江绍兴人,美国乔治·华盛顿大学教授,曾任美国工程科学学会主席等职。1982年11月作为中美能源、资源环境学术会议的美方主席回国主持会议,并到浙江大学座谈及回绍兴参观。袁教授在美国不但造诣甚深,有极高的声望,而且十分关心祖国的能源事业。这次在浙江大学专门提供了有关他发明的利用太阳能冬暖,以及利用冬冷以求夏凉的节能系统有关资料(列于最后),并提出请我国考虑能否采用。袁教授在这方面近几年来的专利就有8个,现把资料综合整理如下,并结合我国情况作些讨论,限于水平,未能很完整地描述袁教授的全部设想及试验,如发现有不对之处,敬请查阅原文资科。希望通过这个介绍,能引起有关人员结合我国具体情况探索能否推广应用,这也是袁教授的心愿。
Yuan Shaowen’s original aid was borrowed from Shaoxing, Zhejiang, and professor of George Washington University in the United States. He used to be the chairman of the American Society of Engineering Sciences. In November 1982, the U.S. chairperson of the China-U.S. Energy, Resources and Environment Academic Conference returned to chair the conference, and went to Zhejiang University to discuss and return to Shaoxing. Prof. Yuan is not only very successful in the United States, has a very high reputation, and is very concerned about the energy business of the motherland. This time, Zhejiang University provided information about his invention of an energy-saving system that uses solar energy in winter and winter cold in order to cool down in summer (listed at the end). He also asked China to consider whether it can be adopted. Professor Yuan has 8 patents in this area in recent years. Now he has consolidated the data as follows, and made some discussions in light of the situation in China. He is limited to the level and cannot fully describe Professor Yuan’s ideas and tests.
