今年是“五四”运动80周年纪念。跨世纪的广东青年朋友,应该怎样纪念这一光辉节日呢?作为老同志,我有责任告诉青年朋友们,学习一点中国近现代史的基本线索,从1840年鸦片战争开始,是中国近代史的开端,从1919年“五四”运动起,是中国现代史的序幕。以“五四”运动为序幕,中国人民进入了新民主主义革命时期,中国人民在反对帝国主义、封建主义、官僚资本主义三大敌人斗争中,经历了无数次的斗争、失败,再斗争、再失败,再斗争、直至胜利的艰难历程;孕育培养发展了爱国主义精神。
This year marks the 80th anniversary of the May 4th Movement. As a young comrade, I have a responsibility to tell young friends and learn a little bit about the basic clues of the modern history of China. Starting from the Opium War of 1840, it is a symbol of modern Chinese history. The beginning, from the 1919 “May 4th Movement”, is the prelude to the modern history of China. Beginning with the May Fourth Movement, the Chinese people entered a period of new-democratic revolution. The Chinese people underwent numerous struggles and failures in the struggle against the three major enemies of imperialism, feudalism and bureaucrat-capitalism Fight again, fail again, fight again, and go through the difficult journey of victory; nurture and develop the spirit of patriotism.
