玉米芯资源丰富,但在食用菌栽培中利用不多,究其原因与产量低下有关。作者于93、94年用其栽培灵芝试验表明,只要运用得法,也能获高产。现介绍如下: (一)玉米芯处理 选无霉变、无虫蛀,上年保存的玉米芯,先用碌碡轧碎,再用粉碎机粉碎至5mm以下颗粒,用这种料装的袋与棉子壳料相当。如果颗粒直径大于5mm,因其袋料孔隙大,含干物质量少,且料易失水变干;若粉碎得过细,袋料通气性差,菌丝吃料迟缓。因此,选择适宜的粒度,是形成良好菌体结构的先决条件,有了好的发菌优势,才可能形成产量优势。
