作为一个女性作家,薇查的小说有着鲜明的性别特点,那就是众多的女性人物,女作家鲜明的情感立场和道德判断。她的小说还有着如同日常生活一般平白质朴的风格。这里选译的三个短篇都是薇查的早期作品,尤其代表了薇查的上述创作特点。其中《钱—钱—钱》(Geld-Geld-Geld-Das Leben eines reichen Mannes)译自《文本和批评》2000年10月号,《食人魔》(Der Oger)和《运河》(Der Kanal)译自短篇小说集《黄街》(Die Gelbe Strasse,卡尔·汉泽出版社,1990年第2版)。艾利亚斯·卡内蒂的那篇《薇查》,是他在《黄街》出版的时候为该小说集写的序。
As a female writer, Wei Cha’s novel has a distinct gender characteristics, that is, many women, writers, a clear emotional position and moral judgments. Her novels also have the simple and plain style of everyday life. The three short stories translated here are the early works of Verbes, in particular, representing the above creative features of Verbes. The “Geld-Geld-Geld-Das Leben eines reichen Mannes” was translated from “Text and Criticism” October 2000, Der Oger and Der Kanal ) Translated from the short story collection “Yellow Street” (Die Gelbe Strasse, Karl · Hanze Press, 1990 second edition). Elias Canetti’s “Wei Cha” is the order he wrote for the novel when “Huang Jie” was published.
