The purpose of the event The 18th CPC National Congress pointed out that building an excellent system of traditional cultural heritage will carry forward the excellent Chinese traditional culture and promote and standardize the use of the national language. In the Outline of the National Plan for the Reform and Development of the Medium and Long Term Languages and Literatures (2012-2020), it is also clearly stated that “vigorously promote and popularize the common national language” as the main task. Language and writing are the most important communicative tools and information carriers of mankind. They are the basic elements of culture and their distinctive hallmarks.
