The world’s leading integrated circuit company is derived from the sub-micron process technology development plan of the Industrial Technology Research Institute. Established in December 1994, it is the first integrated circuit manufacturer in Taiwan to have an eight-inch wafer fab. Its main products are DRAM and SRAM. Since the memory market was very good in 1995, the company set a year-long turnover of 5.35 billion yuan and a net profit of 2.28 billion yuan, ranking seventh among Taiwan’s semiconductor manufacturers.
