The demand for domestic construction machinery will increase greatly. The favorable macroeconomic environment such as the sustained and steady growth of the national economy and the acceleration of the process of urbanization will enable the construction industry in China to face good opportunities for development. It was learned from the Ministry of Construction that by 2005, the total output value of the construction industry in China will reach 2.6 trillion yuan, an average annual increase of 7.5%; the added value of the construction industry will reach 850 billion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 7.1%.
