2004年的中国教育界可谓触目惊心、大事不断(尽管这一年才过去2/3)。2月份,春节的喜庆还没有过去,马加爵事件就令国人目瞪口呆;其后,2000多名大学生在重庆被骗身陷非法传销;进入6月份,首先是河南濮阳、镇平的高考舞弊案被曝光,随后是全国英语四级考试题目网上泄密,再后是湖南衡阳初中毕业考试“大面积泄题”……国家和政府非常重视这些现象,3月22日,中央高层召开会议,通过了《加强未成年人思想道德建设的决议》。就是在这样的背景下,我们迎来南开中学的百年诞辰庆典(10月17日)。在此,让我们认识一位久违了的伟大教师--张伯苓,让我们回顾南开中学创建和发展的历史,我们会获得颇多的感悟。
