我国近代由于《杜威十进分类法》的传入,出现了“仿杜”、“改杜”、“补杜”等分类法不下三十多种,其中刘国钧先生的《中国图书分类法》是较重要的一种。它是1925年刘国钧先生任金陵大学图书馆主任时编制的,1929年改订出版,又于1936年增订再版.在初版自序里刘先生指出;“本法题曰中国图书分类法,盖为我国之图书作也。我国图书馆中由来有所谓新旧籍之分,其不当于事情,论之者已众,而本法编制之始即祛
