测量板块运动是对板块构造假设的关键试验,这是岩石圈规划的一个主要目的。板块运动和变形的定量描述、板块运动机制的力学模型以及作为准刚性单元的板块运动程度的测定,是本规划的基本目的。这里所提出的“现代”一词是指一万年前至现在的时期。
Measuring plate motion is a key test of plate tectonics and is one of the main goals of lithosphere planning. The quantitative description of plate motion and deformation, the mechanics model of plate motion mechanism, and the determination of plate motion as a quasi-rigid unit are the basic objectives of this plan. The word “modern” proposed here refers to a period from ten thousand years ago to the present.
