在每年的新生报名情况调查中,我们不难发现这样一个现象:孩子们在计算能力、表达能力、想象能力、行为习惯等方面会表现出一定的差异性,但如果让他们随口背二、三首古诗,真是拿来就有,脱口而出。经过调查,刚入学的新生92%能熟练背诵古诗,其中最多的新生达21首。可见年轻的父母们在对呀呀学语的幼儿进行启蒙教育时比较青睐古诗文的诵读,可见古诗文在开发儿童早期的智力,丰富语言表达能力等方面起着不可低估的作用。如何保持学生已有的学习优势,利用祖国厚实的诗文资源,满足学生继续探究的愿望,培养学生的人文素养,是值得我们重视的课题。
