冀东皮影是流行于河北省北部地区,并为群众喜闻乐见的一种民族艺术形式。这一剧种起源于河北滦州,后来在隶属滦州管辖的乐亭县又盛行起来,因此有“滦州影”、“乐亭影”之称。因为它的影人、道具是用驴皮制成,并且遍布于冀东各地,所以又称“冀东皮影”。 影戏的起源有许多不同的传说。一说始于楚汉相争时张良在城楼设影人迷惑敌人;一说源于西汉文帝刘恒时,宫妃巧剪桐叶作人形映于纱窗之上,哄着太子玩耍;又一说
Jidong shadow is popular in the northern region of Hebei Province, and loved by the masses of a national art form.
