本文认为西方哲学思想中的语篇活动性和系统性是语篇经济性研究的理论基础,而中国古典哲学思想所推崇的“言有尽而意无穷”的思想为语篇经济性研究提供了十分重要的理论指导和评价标准。中西方哲学思想启示我们,语篇的经济性是明晰美、准确美和简朴美的和谐统一。经济的语篇是实现语篇信息整体优化配置的语篇,它可以通过新旧信息的合理安排和语境暗含的适度控制来实现。
