在人类基因组中存在着大量超变的小卫星区域。利用特异的小卫星DNA探针,通过Southern印迹检测基因组DNA中的小卫星区域可获得高度多态性的DNA指纹图。其在个体同一认定、父权鉴定、细胞系的检测与鉴定、骨髓移植的监测及肿瘤研究等方面有着十分重要的应用价值.
There are a large number of hypervariable small satellite regions in the human genome. Highly polymorphic DNA fingerprinting can be obtained by Southern blotting of small satellite regions in genomic DNA using specific small satellite DNA probes. It has very important application value in the aspects of individual identification, paternity testing, cell line detection and identification, bone marrow transplantation monitoring and tumor research.
