我的绘画作品比较多,但是除了画画之外我也非常关注展示空间。去年在中国美术馆我和新表现主义艺术家卡斯特利有一个对话展览,今年4月份又以“白墙计划”为概念在上海油画雕塑院美术馆展出我和他的全新合作。而上海站展览最初的构思只是把之前在北京展出过的作品再展一次。一个艺术家进入美术馆的空间之后,思考最多的就是如何将作品放置入这个空间内。我和卡斯特利在展览开幕前3天抵达上海准备布展。可他的作品却因为海关手续的问题延迟入关。我和卡斯特利只好先把我的作品布置完成,同时留出他作品的位置,并在空白的墙面上贴好说明标签。
I have more paintings, but I also pay attention to the exhibition space besides painting. Last year at the Art Museum of China, I had a dialogue exhibition with Neo-Expressionism artist Castell. In April this year, I also showed my new cooperation with the “White Wall Project” concept at the Shanghai Oil Painting and Sculpture Museum. The original idea of the Shanghai Station Exhibition was to show the works previously exhibited in Beijing once again. After an artist enters the space of an art gallery, the most important thing to consider is how to put the work into the space. I and Castelli arrived in Shanghai three days before the opening of the exhibition in preparation for the exhibition. However, his work is delayed because of customs formalities. I and Castelli had to arrange my work first, while leaving his work in the position, and in the blank wall stickers labeled.
