海南岛地处亚热带，气候湿热，致支气管哮喘过敏源种类繁多，我们从全死因调查来研究支气管哮喘与肿瘤的相互关系。海口市、昌江县1990─1992年三年累计1782．407人，死亡人数5．807人，年平均普通死亡率326‰。肿瘤死亡人数1．310人，占总死亡人数22．6％，年平均肿瘤死亡率73．49／10万人口。死亡人数中有三年以上支气管哮喘史178人，占3．07％，支气管哮喘患者死于肿瘤仅4人，占2．24％，为死亡人数中肿瘤死亡数十分之一，支气管哮喘病的免疫状态可降低肿瘤死亡率，其相关因素尚待进一步探讨。
