五四新文化运动常常被看成是一场“全盘否定传统文化”的运动,在这场狂飙的运动中,有被认为是“偏激”的一派,也有被认为是保守的一派,但如果仅就一家之言论而不回到当时的历史场景来判断五四新文化运动对于传统文化的态度,就会形成单纯片面的言论。五四新文化运动中对于传统文化的估定有着重要的意义,本论文试从“五四文化圈”里的传统文化谈起,谈谈关于五四新文化运动的再认识。
The May Fourth New Culture Movement was often seen as a “total negation of traditional culture.” In this spectacular movement, there are groups that are considered “extreme” and those who are considered conservative However, if we only judge the attitude of the May Fourth New Culture Movement toward traditional culture on the basis of one speech without going back to the historical scenes of the time, we will form a simple one-sided remark. The evaluation of traditional culture in the May Fourth New Culture Movement is of great significance. This paper attempts to talk about the traditional culture in the “May Fourth Cultural Circle” and talk about the re-understanding of the May Fourth New Culture Movement.
