20世纪20年代,伴随着中国电影的初盛,中国电影女明星群体也逐步发展壮大并对都市文化产生了不可忽略的影响。作为代表市民阶层趣味的大众媒介,流行小报对女明星的报道体现出社会流行话语对女明星的建构和想象。通过对相关内容进行分析可见:女明星的“身体”和性魅力被流行媒介夸张、放大,成了投射大众欲望的载体。虽然电影女星在经济独立等方面契合了“五四”时期对新女性的想象,“娼优并论”依然是流行媒介对她们的主流价值判断。流行小报通过对女明星身体的“凝视”、削弱女明星的个性化特征、对女明星表演才能的忽略等报道方式和倾向,放大了女明星的性魅力,忽略了其职业对才能的要求,强化了当时对女明星的负面评价。
In the 1920s, with the initial success of Chinese films, the female movie star groups in China also gradually developed and had an irreversible impact on urban culture.
