一、简单的回顾 河北煤田地质勘探队从1953年建队到现在已经三十多年了。三十多年来,在各级党委的正确领导下,煤田勘探职工依靠科学和技术,克服种种困难,艰苦奋斗,在河北大地找到了一个又一个煤田,为祖国建设做出了和正在做出巨大的贡献。 1955年在开滦建立了我国第一个煤田地震勘探队和电法队,1956年在峰峰建立了地球物理探矿队,与此同时还在燕山南麓、太行山东麓地区开展了大面积地质填图工作,形成了构造推断、物探指引、钻探揭露等综合找煤方法、先后发现了车轴山、蓟玉、邢台等煤田。许多煤田已经建井和投产。
