本文以笔者的研究工作为基础,较为全面地讨论了联网机(gateway)的标准化测试技术:测试的必要性、测试内容和测试方法、测试数据(Test)的定义以及测试系统的组成。 文中讨论的三种测试联网机的基本方法已被国际标准化组织的相应机构ISO/TC 97/SC21接受为测试开放式互联网络中继系统(OSI Network Relay)的基本方法。笔者在自己的测试系统中采用了其中的两种方法,对英国两家计算机公司的联网机产品进行了较为全面的测试。 文中提出的“渡船”(Ferry)的概念对改进网络协议软件的标准化测试技术,解决现有各类测试系统中存在的问题,找到了新的途径。
Based on the author’s research work, this paper discusses the standardized testing techniques of gateway: the necessity of testing, the contents and methods of testing, the definition of testing data and the composition of testing system. The three basic methods of testing networking machines discussed in this article have been accepted by ISO / TC 97 / SC21, the corresponding organization of the International Organization for Standardization, as the basic method of testing an OSI Network Relay. I used one of the two methods in my own test system to conduct a more comprehensive test of networking products from two UK computer companies. The concept of “ferry” proposed in this article is to find a new way to improve the standardization testing technology of network protocol software, solve the existing problems in all kinds of testing systems.
