青海油田位于青海省西北部,被昆仑山、祁连山和阿尔金山环抱。这里高寒缺氧,平均海拔3000米,地理面积25万平方千米,沉积面积约12万平方千米,主要勘探开发区域在素有“聚宝盆”之称的柴达木盆地,是中国陆上石油自然条件最为艰苦的油田。创业60多年来,几代青海石油人奋战高原、砥砺前行,把曾经的不毛之地建设成为甘青藏三省区域重要的能源化工基地。
