寒冷半干旱地区引种欧美杨 ,经苗期、品种评比与区域化栽培试验等长达 15a的测定与选择 ,从中选出DN113杨新品种。该品种生长量、抗病虫、耐干旱及材性等特性较为突出。其中 9~ 10a生材积生长量超过小黑杨1倍多。致死土壤含水率为 5 .0 0 % ,含盐量 >0 .4% ,pH值 >9.77为致死或半致死指标。该品种能在最低气温- 3 7.2℃ ,年均温度 3 .2℃ ,年降水 40 0mm左右 ,无霜期 13 0d以上的自然条件下正常生长。首次将欧美杨引种到北纬 47°2 7′的地区并获得成功。为高寒地区选育欧美杨树种 ,提供成功的典范
