The non-linguistic major in colleges and universities in our country has undergone two booming periods. One is the massive demand for non-linguistic talents in the 1950s and 1960s in the new China, urging the construction of non-linguistic major. The other is that since the beginning of the new century, the state has set up nine non-linguistic and non-linguistic undergraduates training bases in higher education institutions to promote the development of non-linguistic specialties. The implementation of the “Belt and Road” strategy has brought new opportunities for non-lingua franca and we will welcome better and faster development. The “Belt and Road” construction is a project led by economic construction and aimed at promoting the economic prosperity of all countries along the line;
