福建省福安养路段福鼎工区几年来在贯彻因地制宜、就地取材的原则下,利用当地所产砾石、石屑、砂土、贝壳、风化石等铺筑了很多的路面磨耗层。其中风化石磨耗层,从1963年开始试铺,当初有不少人认为风化石磨耗层会起浆,后果不良;但在工人们积累的丰富经验下,注意了铺筑方法,铺筑的磨耗层经过了雨季中40多天连绵不断的雨天和每昼夜100多车次辗压的考验,路面仍平整结实,无起浆、无波浪、无跳粒。
