The large-scale discovery of Huizhou instruments and the gradual rise of Huizhou studies since the 1950s and 1960s are undoubtedly excellent explanations for these words. Since the 1980s, the scope of Huizhou study has been expanding. All the important achievements of Huizhou merchants, clans, neo-Confucianism, land relations, tenant system and education have come out. In recent years, with the expansion of research field and the continuous innovation of research theory, the research on social and cultural history of Huizhou attracts more and more attention. For Huizhou folk beliefs and relatives during the Ming and Qing Dynasties
