贵州位于我国西南部,云贵高原东部大斜坡地带。该省纬度较低而海拔较高,气候温暖,雨量充沛,河谷深切,地势起伏较大,且地表形态多变,岩性组合也复杂多样。贵州的土壤种类繁多,植被类型丰富,又正值东南季风和西南季风在此交汇。这些独特的自然地理环境,正是贵州森林植物资源丰富、森林类型多样而且林木生产力较高的基础,被誉之为西南地区“宜林山国”。
Guizhou is located in the southwest of China, the eastern Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau slopes. The province’s low latitude and high altitude, the climate is warm, abundant rainfall, deep valleys, terrain ups and downs, and the changing surface morphology, rock composition is also complex and diverse. Guizhou has a wide range of soils and rich vegetation types, coinciding with the intersection of the southeast monsoon and the southwest monsoon here. These unique natural and geographical environments are exactly the basis for Guizhou’s abundant forest resources, diverse forest types and high tree productivity, and are praised as “Yilin Mountain Country” in southwest China.
