On October 31, 2015, the 30th anniversary of the success of the national land survey satellite was commemorated and the third academic symposium on the application of domestic remote sensing satellites was held in Beijing. The conference was sponsored by Satellite Applications Committee of China Aerospace Society, Expert Committee of China Society of Remote Sensing Applications, Environment Remote Sensing Branch of China Association of Remote Sensing Applications, Space Stellar Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and Remote Sensing Group of Satellite Application Committee of China Astronautics Society.
