Loss of consciousness due to circulatory disorders is often due to lack of blood supply to the brain, disorders caused by hypoxic metabolism of brain cells. The main factors that determine cerebral blood flow are cardiac output, cerebral perfusion pressure and resistance. At rest, 15% of normal cardiac output (CO) was supplied to brain tissue. Normal adult cerebral blood flow per minute 700 ~ 750 ml. Brain tissue lacks the ability to store available energy substrates, which require 19 times more oxygen than muscles and 4 times more than myocardium. Brain tissue is particularly poorly tolerant of hypoxia and therefore remains normal
