如今社会迅速进入全球化的后现代时期,高校美术教育的状况却发生了很大的改变。和以往相比较,如今的高等美术教育的任务和观念都出现了明显的变化。和以前那种极端注重学生专业技巧和训练的传统教学观念相比,如今的教学理念开始让位于重视学生人格发展和艺术素养的提高的教学观念。而以往那种以知识的灌输为主的教学模式也同样让位于能对学生的创造力培养与开发,不断加强文化修养的教学方式,才能将学生塑造成为既有健全人格,又有最强能力的全面发展的人物。正应如此,如今的美术教育环境和教育观念的变化必然是要求教学课程内容与教学模式的完全变化,这样才能适应如今新时代的高校美术教育,才能面对社会对现代美术人才的高端需求。
