Drinking water is a basic requirement of human existence and an important medium for disease transmission [1]. 5.12 Earthquake caused serious damage to the water supply system in our district and increase the potential safety hazard of drinking water, posing a serious threat to people’s lives and safety in the affected areas. After the disaster, we conducted a timely investigation of the sanitary status of drinking water, analyzed the hazardous factors that affect the safety of drinking water, and adopted targeted control measures to effectively prevent waterborne diseases
