东风牌加强型石棉气缸垫是东风系列汽车发动机的主要密封件之一。东风EQ140发动机是顶置气门式汽油机,压缩比较高,而目前国产汽油的辛烷值较低。因此,对气缸垫的强度、抗爆震性能和密封性能等提出了特殊的要求。DF-JG6100型东风牌加强型石棉气缸垫(以下简称东风缸垫)是为满足二汽EQ140发动机的这些特殊要求而设计制造的。几年来,运用全面质量管理的科学方法及多方面的改进,通过台架试验和实际使用证明,这种缸垫性能优良,质量稳定,很好地满足了EQ140发动机的特殊要求,使用寿命达到和超过发动机的大修期,已创二十二万公里记录,装车返修率下降到0.01％以下。一九八三年获机械工业部科技成果三等奖和湖北省优质产品称号。
