我场位于都兰县希里沟小盆地的中部,海拔2,970公尺,绝对无霜期90天,平均温度为3.5℃,年降雨量180毫米。从1956年建场以来,粮食生产逐年有所增加,做到了年年经营有利,并且获得了“1957年种植小麦先进场”的光荣称号。今年种植春小麦高产田6亩,共打小麦38,755斤9两,平均亩产6,459斤4两;其中1.059亩(于9月17日收割),共打小麦9,091斤,折合亩产8,585斤6两。由海西州委书记
