宜兴紫砂工艺陶,是我国具有独特民族风格和地方色彩的传统工艺品,历史悠久、造型多样、技艺精湛、色泽朴雅,而著称于世.紫砂工艺陶是用“得天独厚”的陶土原料制成的.经过历代艺人的辛勤劳动,细心揣摩研究,以大自然为创作源泉,并吸取了中国其它传统艺术的特点,精心设计了数以千计的各式壶、盆、瓶等的造型,而又各具特色,真可说是方非一式、园无一相.为了更好地继承传统技艺,不断丰富我们造型设计的新内容,不仿对这些历史器皿造型作一粗浅的分析,其工艺手法大致有四种.
