科技翻译是介于文理之间的职业,科技翻译应有介于文理之间的才能,这就须要培养科技知识、外国语言文字和本国语言文字“综合性能”好的人才。老实说,各方面水平都很高的人,恐怕也不会专门做翻译工作了。所以只能选那些单项成绩虽不拔尖,但具有“综合优势”的人。对学生来说,也就是那些理科功课虽不拔尖,但也不是见了数理化就头痛;文科功课虽不拔尖,但也不是文理不通的人。当然,这只是起码的条件。对于现在已经干上科技翻译这一行的人来说,多半是由于机缘凑巧,被时代的浪潮卷到这里来的,并不是因为本人觉
