曹振峰出生在一个普通农民家中。1979年,参军入伍。从部队复员后,于1995年6月自筹12万元资金,创办了北方汽车专修学校。经过14年的艰苦创业,学校已由最初的几排小平房发展成拥有分布中国大江南北的14所分校、教师科研团队3000余人、年招生6万余人、总资产达15个亿的北方汽车教育集团,是全国唯一系统培训汽修全能人才的专业学校,享有“汽修教育界航母”的美誉。
