教育的目的是为地方经济的发展培养人才,而人才的培养离不开教育改革,更需要有一个较好的平台。文章通过对无锡地方经济的发展现状进行分析,从而了解目前高职英语教学与社会需求之间存在的差距;为了更好地缩小二者之间的差距,实现高职院校的英语教学目标,高职英语教学必须进行模式的创新,从而为地方经济的发展提供合格的人才。
The purpose of education is to train qualified personnel for the development of the local economy. The cultivation of qualified personnel is inseparable from education reform and requires a better platform. By analyzing the current situation of the development of local economy in Wuxi, the article understands the current gap between English teaching in higher vocational colleges and social needs. In order to narrow the gap between the two and realize the goal of English teaching in higher vocational colleges, Vocational English teaching must be mode innovation, so as to provide local qualified personnel for economic development.
