1992年4月3日七届全国人大五次会议审议通过“关于三峡工程的议案”。次年9月27日,中国长江三峡工程开发总公司便在宜昌挂牌成立。一晃整整20年了。这20年间,由于我时任中共宜昌市委副书记、市政协主席,有幸见证甚至亲历了三峡工程建设全过程中一系列重大事项或活动,陪同了数十位党和国家领导人视察三峡工程。由于我酷爱集邮,有心留意请100多位党和国家领导人在纪念封上签名留念;领导和支持宜昌市邮政局制作了一系列印证伟大的三峡工程的纪念封。可以说我对三峡工程充满了深厚的感情。
On April 3, 1992, the Fifth Session of the Seventh National People’s Congress examined and approved Proposal on Three Gorges Project. The following year on September 27, China Three Gorges Project Corporation was set up in Yichang. A full flash for 20 years. During these 20 years, I was fortunate to witness or even experience a series of major events or activities in the whole process of the construction of the Three Gorges Project. I accompanied dozens of party and state leaders in inspecting the Three Gorges Project since I was the deputy secretary of the CPC Yichang Municipal Committee and Chairman of the Municipal Committee of the CPPCC. Since I love collecting philately, I sincerely note that more than 100 party and state leaders have signed their souvenir letters to commemorate the occasion. They have led and supported the Yichang Post Office in making a series of souvenir covers that demonstrate the great Three Gorges Project. It can be said that I am full of deep feelings for the Three Gorges Project.
