今年4月1日,阳山县在贤令山上的革命烈士纪念碑前隆重举行了纪念原连江支队司令员冯光同志牺牲50周年系列活动。县委、县政府有关领导,从广州和韶关等地专程赶回来的原连江支队、广四清边区队及阳山人民武装起义的老战士、老游击队员与当地干部、群众、民兵和驻军等共300多人参加了悼念活动,向冯光司令员以及为阳山人民解放事业牺牲的烈士们表示了沉痛的哀悼和怀念。冯光同志1920年出生于佛冈,1939年参加革命并加入中国共产党,1940年调到广州市郊游击第二支队后,参加过著名的“西海大捷”、“夜袭新造”和“植地庄战斗”。由于他作战勇敢,屡立战功,多次受到上级嘉奖,
