The new control rod hydraulic step drive system is introduced. The reliability and safety performance of the control rod under various accident conditions are analyzed. The safety characteristics of the control rod hydraulic circuit in the event of water pipe breakage are analyzed. Stepping control rod drive system has the inherent safety features of crash safety.
