西吉县职业中学始建于1986年,是集职业高中教育、技术培训、劳动力转移培训于一体的综合性中等职业学校,是国家级新型农民工培训基地。先后荣获“全国职业教育先进单位”“自治区先进基层党组织”“自治区教育系统党建示范点”“自治区职业院校技能大赛最佳组织奖”“自治区职业院校技能大赛突出贡献奖”等60多项荣誉。2013年8月经三部委批准,西吉县职业中学进入第三批“示范校”建设行列,学校严格依照《建设方案》和《任务书》要求,遵循“高标准规划、高水平建设、高质量管理”的原则全方位推进示范校建设工作,两年来,各项工作有序开展,建设成效显著。
