“月亮”与“镜子”是张爱玲在小说中反复使用的两个重要意象。不仅是自然景致和生活物品,它们更是作为具有隐喻、暗示作用的意象在小说文本中发挥其象征功能。张爱玲通过对形状和色彩的刻画丰富了传统的“月亮”意象,又独到地将“镜子”冰凉易碎的特征进行深入发掘,使它们具有奠定小说基调、烘托人物心理、暗示人物命运等重要作用,反映出作者丰富的想象力和对文字极强的驾驭能力。
“Moon ” and “Mirror ” are two important images that Zhang Ailing uses repeatedly in his novels. They are not only natural sceneries and living objects, but also exert their symbolic functions in fictional texts as metaphorical and suggestive images. Eileen Chang enriches the traditional image of “Moon” by portraying shapes and colors, and uniquely explores the characteristics of the “mirror” and the fragility of the ice so that they can lay down the keynote of the novel, Fate and other important role, reflecting the author’s rich imagination and strong ability to control the writing.
