Addition reaction of terpene oligomer with maleic anhydride was studied.The suitable conditions were obtained:heterpolyacid H 3[P(W 3O 10 ) 4]·H 2O was used as catalyst;the amount of catalyst used was 1.5% of terpene oligomer (wt.%);the ratio of maleic anhydride and terpene oligomer was 1/1.6~1/1.8(by wt.);reaction temperature was 190±5℃.The epoxy resin was prepared from adduct of oligomer terpene with maleic anhydride.
