The paper introduces the MAC layer uplink scheduling mechanism of IEEE802.16e protocol, designs a practical uplink scheduler according to the protocol, and proposes an uplink scheduling algorithm to ensure the QoS requirements of multi-user and multi-service. The algorithm can be applied to WiMAX base station MAC system.
