Since the reform and opening up, with the rapid development of the market economy, a large number of rural people in mountainous areas have gone out to other economically developed areas such as the Pearl River Delta to work as home-improvement workers. The children of these migrant workers are left behind in their hometowns and rural areas, where they are supervised by grandparents or other relatives and friends, who are called “left-behind students” by the community. These left-behind students bring many problems to family and school education and it is urgent to solve the education problems of left-behind students. This paper takes Bathing Lake as an example to analyze the education problems and countermeasures of staying behind students in mountain area.
