所谓模型思想,是从相对复杂的问题情景中抽象出数学模型,通过理性的分析、假设、论证,得出策略与方法,回归解决实际问题的过程。《义务教育数学课程标准》着重指出:模型思想的建立是学生体会和理解数学与外部世界联系的基本途径,是体现数学应用价值的典型思想,它贯穿了整个中学阶段。2011年数学新课程标准进一步提高了对数学模型思想的要求,强调在相关内容的学习过程中要突出“建立模型”的环节。可见,渗透模型思想、实施模型教学,已经是数学教学的重要内容和必然趋势。
